Add Subtitles to DVD Movies or Videos on Mac (Windows 10 included)

Add subtitles to DVD Movies 

Sometimes you may have source of foreign DVD movies disc or received files from friends, but they lack of subtitles which can get some awesome foreign movies without the subtitles. At this time, you maybe want to add own language subtitles and burn to DVD for viewing on your big-screen televisions etc. It’s indeed great idea to enhance the viewing experience but getting a SRT file to a DVD is also relatively difficult. Do you want to attach external subtitles to the movie files, play and watch them with understandable language? Here is a simple way to show you how to add SRT/ASS/SSA subtitles into DVD movie files. 

What DVD convert you need 

1. Videos files that you want to add SRT and burn to DVD.(eg: AVI, MP4, MKV etc) 
2. SRT subtitle files you download from the internet

A easy step to adding subtitles to DVD movies files.

Step 1. Load Source Files
 

Launch the Pavtube Video Converter Ultimate and then drag your DVD movies directly to the app from your folders on Mac. You can import several files into the app for burning or converting. If you wanna merge several video clips, you can drag one to the program first and then drag others to the video info bar for merging. 

 

Step 2. Add Subtitle 

On the video info bar, you will see a "Subtitle" box next to the video’s Thumbnail. Click it and choose “Load Subtitle” to load your subtitle file. To preview subtitles, you need to click the "Edit" (Pen) button to open the "Video Editing" dialog and go to "Subtitle" tab. There you can also make changes to the added subtitles. Compatible subtitle file formats: SRT, ASS and SSA. 

 

Step 3. Burn to DVD 

After adding subtitles into your video files, you now can go on to burn the videos with subtitles to DVD. Click the "Burn" button at bottom. Of course, you're highly recommended to preview the subtitle to see whether it's what you want. If not, return to change it.
